COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Gylden, Perle, Cascade, Tettnang, karamelliseret sukker.
Mørk gylden øl der dufter af karamel og har et cremet skum. Den aromatisk øl har en let smag af kaffe, lys chokolade og muscovado sukker. Den virker perlende i munde og efterlader en med en god fornemmelse af kaffe.
Also known as Bøgedal 191 and 203.

On tap at Olympen. Hazy red copper, medium head. Fruity toffee, especially in the mouth. Some acidity balances the sweetness. Drinkable.

Bottle at a Chriso tasting, London. Pours rich ruby with a fine, white cream head. Semi-dark malt nose, light dusty and toasty malts. Medium to big sweet flavor with dried fruits, some ripe orange. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with dusty, semi-ripe fruits. Very rich and flavorful.

The ChrisO small midweek tasting. As #213. Hazy amber beer, good pale tan head. Semi dry palate. Lactose creamy malt. Mild hops, very mild. Finishes with a little minerals. Inoffensive but somewhat wishy washy.

Bottle (labelled as #0213) at Chriso - 25/09/12. Reddish brown pour with almost no head. Sour nose comprising nuts and toffee. Sweet toffee in the taste, caramel malts, sour fruit tones. Medium bodied leading to a dry finish.

Scopey (6839) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle (as #213) at ChrisO. It pours deep red-brown, with a thin off-white rim. The nose is freshly baked brown bread, earthy, malt backbone and a touch of raisin. The taste is sweet caramel, earth, medicinal aspect, underlying spice, cardboard, white sugar, hint of dark fruit and some alcohol warmth. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather odd. Doesn’t quite work for me.
