COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, as # 169, bought @ Fairbar, Aarhus.
Pours hazy black with a big, creamy, beige head. Long lacing. Lovely aroma of dark chocolate, softly roasted malts, flowers, a hint of coffee and light fruity hops. Soft carbonation, great dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light and flowery at first, then dry and bitter before turning into roasted, chocolate, dryness, coffee. Long, lingering bitterness. Really lovely.

Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a barely transparent murky mahogany with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of toasty dark caramel and milk chocolate with an interesting earthy spice presence. Starts with pretty good creamy malty fullness and toasty caramel notes with a touch of brown sugar, allspice and grapefruity hops. A pretty interesting brew.
