COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Gylden hvede, appelsin, muscovado.

Had this Fantastic Witbier(Hvede) Friday night at home together with sushi and it was a very nice "blend". It is a always a "sheer" pleasure to open the beers from Bøgedal and this one was not an excemption. Fantastic colour, odeur and taste - even for a non-Witbier fanatic.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Off white head. Cloves, banana, sweetness and spice in the aroma. Flavour as well full of fruits and spice. Compared directly to no 165, theres a lot more power in this. Medium to full bodied. Quite dry. Spicy and sweet end. Very nice.

It is unclear, red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, wheat and light oranges. The flavour has sweetness and notes of caramel, malt, wheat, citrus and burnt sugar. It is smooth and somewhat atypical for a wheat, but it is very charming...

Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Transparent copper amber orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty lightly sweet wheat and grain with some earthy hops. Starts with good fullness and sweet malty wheaty flavor with a nice light fruity complexity and a toasty sweet finish with some peppery notes. Well-balanced and unique.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2013 21-JUL-2012, draft @Torvehallerne. Hazy orange with lasting almost white head. Very fruityy for a weissbier. Not so spicy but more fruity. Very creamy as usual with Bøgedal. Fantastic weisse.

Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
(bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle).
Pours a nice, clear amber with a great, frothy, yellowish head. Aroma is sweet and wheaty, light coriander and caramel. Fat and grainy mouthfeel with fair carbonation. Sweet flavour, some caramel mixed in with the wheat. A bit too ’fat’ perhaps.
