COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours murky orange with a big, frothy, off-white head. Settles as a thin film. Aroma is sweet, lots of candied oranges, light maltiness, Bøgedal earthiness, some yeasty notes of green apple and mild cardboard. High, prickly carbonation, good dry and oily mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, pilsner malts, some metallic notes from carbonation, oranges, green apples. Good, and the cardboard yeasty notes are very subdued in the flavour.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours murky orange with a big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has apples, peach, malty sweentess and red apples. Medium carbonation, nice creamy texture. Flavour has mild bog myrtle, some peach, fat malty and with a slight crisp edge to the malts. Mildly classic Bøgedal notes and a light peppery. The bog myrtle gets more apparent as it warms up. Good.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours hazy orange with a very nice, staying, whipped egg-white head. Aroma has caramel, earthiness, sweetness, clear bog myrtle, flowery notes, toasted malts. Soft carbonation, great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has grassy Centennial notes at first, herbs, heather, soft yeast, caramel. Super dry finish. Clearly a Bøgedal beer - and a good one at that.
