COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Bøgedal No 215 lys øl

Brygget på gammel dansk toradet 1849 byg NGB 9441 og nøgen 6-radet landsort 1849 NGB 13416 Alkohol: 7,1% Bitter humle: perle Aroma humle: centeniale og perle Smagsegenskaber: Meget malt smag, en meget let til næsten ingen bitterhed og en behagelig aroma.

Begge byg sorterer dyrket på Fyn af Børge Jensen. De har været hengemt i årtier i Nordisk Genbank Banks fryser. Herfra bliver den en gang i mellem taget frem og dyrket for at holde sig i live. Dette store arbejde er Børge Jensen dybt involveret i. Bøgedal har været så heldige at aftage den helt unikke byg og har af brygget en yderst begrænset mængde. Der findes kun 350 flasker af Bøgedal No 215. Malten er maltet af Per Kølster på Fuglbjerggård. Bøgedal No 215 er det andet bryg i serien af øl brygget på gamle kornsorter.

Det tidligere bryg hedder Bøgedal No 202.

Bottle (No. 288 2012/01/25). Pours hazy light amber with small bubbly white head. Lots of large particles floating around in the bottle. Aroma is malt, ripe sweet apples, orange, mandarin, grapes, sour green plums, raspberry yoghurt and faint hints of spruce. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is milky and light chalky with lively carbonation. Finish is long and medium to heavy sweet with notes of malt, caramel, white sugar, lemon(ade), orange juice, licorice mints and toffee. Excellent balanced and refreshingly fruity light beer.

750 ml bottle. Amber and cloudy. Grainy malty caramel flavours. Nicely balanced. Quite neutral, but very nice.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2012, TAP1. Sampled as Nr. 280. Pours an unclear and golden beer with no head. The aroma is malt and yeast. The flavor follows the nose with additional fruit. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes fo malt, elderflowers, and fruits, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Chopp. Hazy deep golden colour. Pleasant fruity peachy yeastya roma, very pleasant. Good mouthfeel. Good fruity exotice peachy flavour, sweet like, with soem yeast and herbs. Nice indeed. fruity and floral hops along with some nectar, sweet malts as well as mild herbal notes.

Bottle, KØ11. Good spicy hop aroma. Very nice mouthfeel. Quite sweet, but also with some alcohol to balance. A bit like nelson sauvin, but more peppery. Good.
