Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, orange, vague elderflower. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110416]

Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of Papsoe. As Hyld, #243. A hazy, reddish orange beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is roasted and sweetish, slightly orangey and herbal. The flavor is a bit ordinary, with bread and citrus. Some bitterness towards the end. Medium to full body, quite dry. Well, far from bad, but a bit ordinary. 110416

Pours clear dark golden with ruby highlights. Lovely, big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has good malty and fruity sweetness, mildly vinious, elderflowers, pine, grapefruit. Highish prickly carbonation, creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely, dry, bitter and flowery. Light elderflowers, chocolate and caramel as base. Long, lingering floral bitterness. A return to form from Bøgedal?
