COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, #243. Cloudy dark brown colour, hint of amber. Small unstable tan head. The flavour starts off quite sweet. Is also fruity, some berries. Creamy flavour also, almost like oak barrel. Hint of alcohol in the finish, but overall a sweet beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of Papsoe. As Hyld, #243. A hazy, reddish orange beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is roasted and sweetish, slightly orangey and herbal. The flavor is a bit ordinary, with bread and citrus. Some bitterness towards the end. Medium to full body, quite dry. Well, far from bad, but a bit ordinary. 110416

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours clear dark golden with ruby highlights. Lovely, big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has good malty and fruity sweetness, mildly vinious, elderflowers, pine, grapefruit. Highish prickly carbonation, creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely, dry, bitter and flowery. Light elderflowers, chocolate and caramel as base. Long, lingering floral bitterness. A return to form from Bøgedal?
