On tap at Torvehallerne, Copenhagen. The best Bøgedal beer I’ve tasted. Roasted grain, prunes, a little burned bread crus. Light, very inviting. Hazy brown. Pronounced bitterness in the tail, but well balanced.

Bottle, 75cl corked, as No 319. An almost clear one, light brown in color and with a small, light beige head. Weak aroma with some caramel maltyness. Lightly herbal too. The flavor is quite a lot more pronounced, with caramel, some herbal bitterness and a touch of dried fruits. Full body, quite dry. Soft carbonation. Being a Bøgedal brew, it’s quite disappointing, still it’s a decent beer I wouldn’t shy away from having again. 130215
