Cask handpull at the Augustus John, Liverpool. Mid gold in colour with thin white head. Earthy, buttery aroma. Reasonable hop tingle on finish. Unattractive yeast aroma, decent in mouth, maybe very mild diacetyl. Citrus hop finish is ok. Not one of Boggart’s best.

Cask conditioned at The Old Bookbinders, Oxford. Gold with white head. Really pleasing hoppy golden ale, there is a strong wheaty note with a heavy citrusy, lemony bitterness. Very nice indeed.
