Cask (handpump) @ Bar Fringe, 8 Swan Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JN.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100120]

Cask. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of diacethyl and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of diacethyl and fruit on a lightly malty background, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish.

Cask. Clear yellow with a creamy white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Light body, flat with a pleasantly soft mouthfeel and fresh exotic fruit accents. Discreet bitterness. Fresh indeed. 200110

Pours clear golden with a small, super-nice, creamy, white head. ARoma has light butter, some grapefruit. Light, soft carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour still has some butter, light bready and with a fair amount of fruity hops. Good fruity, hoppy finish. Just too much butter, sadly.

Cask Handpump at NWAF The Venue, Miles Platting 22/01/2010 Fruit and hop aromas. Golden coloured hoppy and floral with a little citrus flavour. Creamy on the palate with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.

Cask at Market Porter, London. Golden beer, white head. Fruity aroma, toffee notes. Malty fruity flavor, some pears. Somewhat bitter finish.

Gravity cask at the Pig’s Ear. Pours clear yellow-gold with a faint, bubbly white head. Holds an absolutely beautiful aroma, pine, sappy, with fresh pineapple and light bread. Great flavor too, with woody pine notes, light spiciness, some lightly tart but sweet fruit juice, modestly bitter. Light to medium in body with fine to average carbonation. The finish is lightly sticky, with more piney hops, some fruity sweetness, and subtle malts. Really, really good.

500ml bottle brought back home from the Microbar in Manchester. Shared with Finn at a rating session. Frothy, bubbly white head. Cloudy, light amber coloured body. Smell of caramel malts and dusty hops. Caramel malts and lemony hoppy taste. Dry bittersweet end. Nice and easy drinking (Tromsø, 18.07.2012).

(Cask at Angel, Manchester, 25 July 2009) Golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, grass, toffee and Juicy Fruit bubblegum. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and a touch of grass. Generous citrussy, grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice and refreshing.
