Bottle at Craig’s house. Pale golden colour. Not too much gas. Head average size. Ok.

Half pint, hand pulled cask ale at MicroBar in Manchester. Tiny, white head to a misty, golden body. Dry lemon and sweaty hops to the nose. Taste of fresh citrus fruits joined by semi-sweet malts. Fairly dry bitter ending. Just alright (21.01.2013).

Aroma: Peach, lemon and light butterscotch.

Appearance: Clear, golden body with a tight, chalk-white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing.

Taste: Soft, rounded fruit flavours. Subtle lemon notes. Very hoppy. Lovely lingering bitterness.

Palate: Medium body with a soft, oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Hoppy, bitter and tasty.

Cask @ The Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh. Golden yellow colour, reasonable head. Cereal biscuit hop aroma. Dry biscuit grain flavour. Bitter aftertaste. More a golden ale rather than an IPA.
