A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock. A pretty good mild in my opinion. A little mellow in the aroma but it’s decent enough. Slight red wine notes. Lovely purple black colour very similar to Vampire Purple Montana. Feels and tastes like it has a higher abv, which is good. Lovely full velvet mouthfeel. Strangely hoppy for what it is though. Slight sourness in the finish. Enjoyable mild.
