Cask at the Harp, London. Pours a cloudy amber with a fine film. Sweet, caramel and toffee aroma. Lightly swee flavor, nutty, with strong, earthy bitterness. Also some notes of toffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lasting, bitter finish. Too much dirty bitterness for me.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at London Drinker.
Mid brown and stuggling to hold onto a head. Slightly sour, boring malty notes, clear tea and slightly medicinal. Earthy and sour finish. Not too great at all.

[Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading.] Brilliant gold in colour with a tight cream head; aroma of stewed red fruit; surprisingly fruity taste, with cherries, raspberries and other summer fruit; good body, with a slightly chalky mouth feel, and a fruity finish. Refreshing and different.

Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Copper, amber with a small head. Aromas are weetabix malts with earthy Kentish hopping. Some grapefruit and melon. Flavours are dry and earthy with tea. Some citrus towards the finish. OK.
