3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Golden like the sun with a fine lacy white head. This beer has some bite to it. The bitter length certainly is a challenge. The first quarter of the beer goes down easily enough but progressively get harder and harder. Sort of like those crazy tracker pull racers you see on bazaar sports programmes. Do you know what I mean?

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, Threshers, Aughton. Poured golden with a fading white head, some sediment activity apparent. Fragrant aroma with some fruitiness. Grassy hop, quite yeasty flavour with a dry bitter finish. Easy drinking in the sun. Maybe this has improved recently as it didn’t seem quite as bad as is painted here, or maybe it was just the novelty of drinking in the sun....

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
My hand pulled half pint has got only a single white patch on the surface of a clear, golden body. Fruity and a bit oily aroma. Mellow oranges and dried fruits in flavour mixed with malts complemented by a short bitter tail (Bricklayers Arms, Putney 18.03.2008)

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma is buttery floural and some sort of bitterness. Taste is similar, a kind of bad taste through what i assume is the yeast, i dont really like this brewery.
