Bottle consumed in Nov. 2015, best by Mar. 2016. Pale blonde. Broken, fine-bubbled white foam. Clean and airy, but simple, aroma of lemon, grass, toasted crackers and a touch of nectar. Light in body. Foamy carbonation. Mild soapy notes are negated by an appealing, albeit muted, blend of bright lemon and nectar. Basic pils malt character of uncured hay dries things out, but doesn’t offer much in terms of textural richness. Sprucelike hop whispers mark the lean finish along with a cleansing wash of minerals, lemon and grassy malt. Not especially dynamic, but it’s a solid pils. Someone should encourage the brewer to ramp up the hops (and malt, for that matter), because the cleanliness here would serve the adjustments well.

Bottle best by March 2016. Clear gold with a short white head of average retention and some lacing. Extremely quiet aroma is mineral-forward and lightly hoppy, smelling faintly of herbs and lemon peel with mostly transparent malt (saltine cracker?). Light bodied, off-dry, effervescent, lightly starchy and saccharine-like, strongly minerallic with notes of calcium and granite and concrete. It’s mostly clean but just so limited in ingredient expression, I feel like if it were well-hopped and had rich malt we would have something good on our hands. Nicely effervescent and fluffy, albeit bracing in the mouth like seltzer water, but with the light malt sweetness it works. Just needs more of everything.

Unexpectedly fruity aroma blended with the typical hoppy aroma of a Pils. Moderate bitterness.

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head, leaving some lace-work. Sweet grainy, cereal-like aroma with herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Grainy, malt-accented taste, light notes of honey in the background; moderately dry, sweet-bitter and malty finish with a touch of herbal hops. Pleasant to drink and easy-going Pils.

Maria (10213) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2011
It’s light-golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of malt, straw, bread and a little celluloses. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, flower, and the finish is dry and refreshing.
