Bottle from Tesco. Pale gold. Some grainy pale malt aroma. Would be better if it was cold but no off flavours nothing wrong with it. Some grainy malt is all.

Footie’s on and I’m not at work..it’s got to be LAGER. The paler, the fizzier, the more brainless the better. Torrential fizz, shaving foam collar. Sweetcorn relish and honey aroma. Poor, raffia and refuse-accented taste with an underlying meatiness. Zero hop character, full of off notes...undrinkable, or rather not worth drinking. And criminally overpriced at 99p a bottle. Right, back to the Peroni...

Smooth and crisp, the flavour is very heavy on saaz hops, a very typical czech pilsener

ALLOVATE (1708) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - OCT 17, 2011
Medium gold with a persistent, white, light, fluffy and rocky crown fuelled by a lot of fine carbonation. Heavily weedy, vegetal, boiled cabbage and cider vinegar nose, unpleasant. In the mouth it has candied lemon upfront, cardboardy notes mid-palate and a sour malt and hop back end. Lots of DMS shows, I haven’t seen that in a lager for years now. Weedy, acrid swallow with an odd residual lemonade-like sweetness. Light body and fizzy, biting carbonation. Just plain nasty to be honest. (50cL, BBE 04/12, Tesco Taunton, Somerset)

bottle UK, light grassy hoppy aroma, a bit yeasty aroma, ,golden, clear, white foam, medium bitterness, medium sweetness, after long time I recall for a nice czech typical malty taste :)medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, long finish, average lager, but i didnt have any proper for a long time so in this case very good

330ml bottle, Brewed in Czech Republic for Tesco. No head to speak of, quite dark for a pilsner, soggy corn flakes, gassy, it’s better than some of the mass produced lagers but not much. 6 bottles for Ł3 speaks volumes! I’m sure my wife can make use of the rest!
