Golden yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of grain, corn, malts and caramel. Taste of faint caramel, grains, corn and sweet malts. Light bodied, medium carbonation, miniscule hop finish. Drinkable only over 100F outside and beer under 40F!

12 oz bottle at a Mexican restaurant. I remember seeing a version of this in the DR so it’s fun to compare. Nice to see a pale lager without any skunk. Grains with some soft spice. Definitely a, throw a lime in and have 10 of these, beers. A preferred Mexican lager for me.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Better than some of the regular crappy Mexican lagers like corona and sol. Some chemical astringency that passes for bitterness at least. Bottle in D.F.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2016 Pale clear pour with almost no head. Faint sweet grain aroma & taste that’s a little reminiscent of a Kolsch ale. Good crisp pale lager.

355ml bottle. I can’t comment on the pour, as I had it from the bottle. There is a grainy, almost white chocolate feel to the aroma, as well as some light grassy hops. Light grass and leafy hops up front give way to quite a sweet malt body, quite possibly with a few adjuncts in there. Again the white chocolate feel is present, leading into a lightly hoppy finish. A curiously flavoured beer for a lager. Drinkable, but not too exciting.

Originally rated on 6/2/08. One of the better mexican beers out there.(for what thats worth) Golden in color, thin head, tastes a little grainy with slightly sweet malt flavor. o.k. finish, not much aftertaste. I have to say it was better than i expected.

Bottle at a restaurant in London. Poured golden with a small white head. Light malty aroma with some floral and citrus notes. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, slight creaminess to texture. Malty finish. It’s ok.
