Backlog. Bottle when in Mexico. Clear golden color, one finger white foamy head, recedes quickly with some lacing ; aroma malty grainy, grass; moderate sweet, slightly bitter; light to medium body, oily texture; finish sweetbitter. Nothing special, like the bottle though.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Distinct ’fat’ mouthfeel - pleasant enough - mediocre - not refreshing - a bit sweet and not bitter enough. Not terrible just meh - won’t get again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: pours a 1" frothy white head that rapidly recedes with some mild lacing. Color is clear light gold with moderate streaming bubbles.
Aroma: fairly mild, but pickup some yeast, biscuit, and a bit of herbal hops.
Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied, somewhat oily with a quite dry finish.
Flavor: biscuit and cracker, a bit of fruit and lemon in the finish.
Overall: enjoyable and well made to the style. Nothing off-putting.

Bohemia stands alongside Dos Equis Ambar and Negra Modelo in the esteemed category of "easy-to-get Mexican macrobrews that don’t suck." No need for self-delusion here, these kinds of beers don’t come close to offering the complexity or execution that craft drinkers crave. Still, these beers have their place. With its smooth malt character and crisp hops, Bohemia is right at home with inexpensive food and a few friends. It’s definitely not impressive, but it’s a solid go-to option when selection is limited.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear, golden color with about two fingers of white foamy head that quickly settles down.
The basic malty and grainy aroma is easily picked up by the nose.
The taste follows the nose. Initially sweet, followed by a balanced body, finishing with a little bitterness.
Nice and drinkable, but nothing special.

bottle. Pale golden with small head. Grassy and light. Refreshingly unskunked, which is about as good as it gets for Mexican beer, IMHO.
