It’s ok. One of the better Mexican beers but not a whole lotta flavor. drinking it out of a glass from a bottle. Light color with some head.

On draft at Joe’s Pub in Puerto Aventuras Mexico. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Bread yeast aroma. Mild flavor, better than most of the mainline Mexican beers. Only a hint of bitterness.

Ljust gyllene i färgen, vitt skum. Doftar och smakar ljus malt, majs, aningen citron, hö, tvål. Trist men drickbar.

Pours a light cloudy yellow with a soapy head. Aromas of surprising light pine/grass hops and grain. Flavors of faded pine/grass hops and lightly sweetened/sour grain. This one is more on the light hoppy side than the grain and actually reminds of a very light ipa or ale to my surprise! Very lightly bitter and doesn’t leave that much of an aftertaste. Light in every way but has shadows toward an ipa. More enjoyable than not.

12 oz bottle with a lime. Not a bad mexican beer. Dark lager that has a decent flavor.

This is my 100th pale lager rating and I should make it a good one. Will the beer measure up? By the looks of things, I doubt it. Hell, it’s a new one for me and I am on holiday in a tropical paradise*.
It appears pale gold in colour with absolutely nil head and a persistent couple of beads of carbonation. Light sweet malt aroma and nothing else. Flavour of sweet malt and very little else. Maybe a touch of caramel toward a very short finish. I suppose this sums up a lot of pale lagers to be fair. There have been some that tip the scales at well below average and then there’s been some delights and surprises like Matutu Mai Lager straight from the source. I was hoping to knock off a Cooks Lager while I was here, but the poor old brewer had a heart attack three weeks ago and the supply is exhausted and there is no knowledge is it will ever start again. So anyway, this beer is a little bit malty and otherwise lacks in character, but it’s hot outside and it’ll do.
*I suppose the Cook Islands are a tropical paradise if you can tolerate the high cost of living. I’d quite happily go mad and live on the beach like so many rum-addled old boys that are here and there.

Aroma is a weak sweet malt. Taste is a sweet malt and a little pale. Overall just a Mexican beer.

Light golden yellow color, med white head. I smell hay, grain and white bread. I also taste the same with light malt and a crisp finish. I bet with great with spicy food. I like it.
