12 oz. bottl Pours light clear golden with a head that diminishes almost immediately to a thin blanket and a ring. The aroma is much better than expected, very citrusy and grassy, similar to a pilsner. The taste is corn, lemon citrus, grain, better than your average pale lager, but lacks depth like most of the style. Body is obviously paper thin, carbonation is medium, finish is watery. Better than expected, especially in the aroma, but it is still a pale lager.

My new favorite Mexican beer. The other, Negra Modelo takes a swift backseat to this brew. Pours straw gold, steady stream of bubbles issuing from the bottom of my glass. Slightly hoppy with malty undertones. I’ll have this again and again.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2012 Tasted from bottle into lager glass. Poured a clear golden color with weak white head. Very slight hops aroma, mostly corn and generic pale malt. Cool, crisp lager finish, so it goes down easy, but that’s it. I was attracted to the cool bottle with gold foil, as are many drinkers, I’m sure. Better than Corona, fine with spicy Mexican food, but not a great beer.

33cl bottle from Wine Rack, Ascot. Straw with a ring of white head; rich fruity aroma with perhaps a hint of apple; rich, fruity, flavour. Much better than I was expecting!

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts, tin, bread, and light hops. Flavor slightly more hoppy than most beers of this style. Light texture. Nothing special.

An average brew to say the least. It pours up a pale golden body with a somewhat fizzy head. Marginal scents and flavors of corn and grains. The body is very light and carbonated somewhat heavily. Of the light beer family, there are many others that would be more fulfilling than this brew.
