Not much in aroma except for a stringent malt and corn. Flavor is pretty hoppy, with some skunkiness but a good finish. DuffMan (2786), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Had this at Isla restaurant in the T.I. casino-hotel Las Vegas. I agree that this seems to be the winner amongst the dozen or so Mexican pale lagers I’ve tried so far. Very well-balanced with pale malt evident in the palate. It helps that the food was among the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had. AmazonMatt (285), Panama

Makes an ok michelada, but the slightly darker beers aren’t the best for this way of drinking Mexican beers. Had this one in Veracruz, Mexico. altonbrownd (1968), Amsterdam, Netherlands

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Bottle 42F Lager Glass. Light aroma of hops and very little to no malt. Pours clear yellow with a tiny and very thin head. Decent hops taste, much better than I expected not too bad for a mexian macrobrew. Mostly hops taste with a bit straw. Good carbonation on the mouth but still pretty light, none of the nice metallic or slightly sweet tastes that make up most pilsners but still not bad. thegreenrooster (1853), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Flavor is a suprise. Quite hoppy and some bready malts. OK example of the style and the flavor really is something i did not expect.
