Clear gold with a white head. Not much of an aroma, slight hops. Flavor is at least non offensive, a slight malt presence and a mild bitterness.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2008
12oz Bottle, Senor Frog’s, Playa del Carmen, Mexico: Day two of my quest to knock off as many Mexican beers as possible. Poured somewhere between a copper and light brown with a little bit of white head. Aroma is a bit fruity and floral, oddly pungent for what I’ve been used to. Flavour was actually quite nice with good malting offering caramel and bread and even, horror of horrors, some hops! By far my favourite of the Mexican offerings.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Allen (2394) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 24, 2008
Bottled 33cl. 4.8 ABV. It pours a yellow beer with a decent white head. The nose is wonderfully leafy, fruity with hints of peaches, apricots, grapefruit, lemon, tobacco, milk and sorbet. The taste has all the characteristics of the aroma. Light bodied and hoppy. Some rice in there. The finish is bready, nicely leafy accompanied by a hint of wood and smoke.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 asedzie (520) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 24, 2008
Bottle. Pours golden with thin white head. Nose has mild herbal hop aroma and grain. Flavor is light bready malt, a touch of rising dough flavor, with a bit of fresh, lightly oily hops. Finish has mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is lively with carbonation, moderately full.
3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ingy (100) - candler, North Carolina, USA - JAN 20, 2008
bottle, ice cold with lime wedge. My favorite Mexican brew--a light lager with decent balance of malt and hops. Its not one to sit and analyze, but the perfect accompaniment to spicy Mexican food.

12oz bottle-pours a big foamy dissipating white head and yellow color. Aroma is grainy, light hops-lime. Taste is light malt/grainy, light hops-lime, creamy. Enjoyable although less so as it warms, so we’ll stick with this chilled.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 llcooldave (722) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JAN 18, 2008
Golden in color, very bright. Nice and bubbly on the palate. Aroma is slightly grassy with a little spice and herbs thrown in. Flavor is slightly bitter. I am not a pils drinker normally, but this is really nice. Dry and easy drinking. It probably would pair nicely with Tex Mex or chili.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 douglas88 (3483) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - JAN 15, 2008
Bottle. Pours a light gold with a quickly dissipating head. The aroma is mostly grass and malt. The flavor is some sweet malts, glue, grasses and straw and some bitterness. Not horrible. Just a OK pilsener.
