Great hoppiness, color, fizz and refreshing. I like the slight dryness. A true premium lager. More complex than Modela and other mexi-lagers. Sometimes hard to find, but worth looking for in mexican markets and good beverage stores. Great bottle design (sorry, I’m as sucker for a good hold!) henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA

The aroma was slightly dominated by a caramel maltiness but there were subtle notes of old harness leather and horse sweat. The body was light with lively carbonation and a watery texture. The finish was short and somewhat dry. The flavor started off a little on the bitter side and stayed consistent throughout. FrankJohansen (3398), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 20, 2006 One of the more hoppier beers in mexico although it is an artificial taste, no head, no body and a nothingness finish. If you had to choose between the tecates, sols, coronas and other macros id choose this one, as the lesser of the bads... suture (6), Houston, Texas, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2006 (Kroger, Houston)

Bulk standard international lager. Pale-gold, fluffy white head; grass and corn syrup on the nose; a hint of caramelly malt, dry, carbonated, ever so slight grassy bitterness; watery. The barman pumped this up, with talk of "rich malt", but it’s just another simple "premium lager". I guess, in Mexico, you can be sure that it’s cleaner than the tap water. Faint aroma of corn, pepper, and hops. Crisper palate than a typical Mexi-lager, with a cornish flavor up front and finishes with a slightly sourish, bitter finish. Some aftertaste, too.
