Even after removing the lime, it was about all that I could smell. It looked like an American Standard and tasted quite a bit like one, but had a bit more of a malt background. Slightly fizzy, head dissipated rather quickly. Better than Bud, etc., but what isn’t. balke13 (156), MIssoula, Montana, USA

It wasn’t all that bad and fit with the atmosphere. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 5, 2005 Bottle was as plain label as I have ever seen. It did not even state what style of beer it was. However, the beer inside was quite nice. Definitely not a premium quality offering, but a very pleasant beer. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Yellow pour, with large white head. Decent lacing. Typical stale lager aroma. Crisp, with lots of year, light wheat and a touch of fruit. Very drinkable, but predictable, no depth at all. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 24, 2005 Golden light flavored lager. I would have to agree with another listing that is is pretty much the MGD of Mexican beers. Not bad, but not great. Jedsbrew (465), Rhineland, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 24, 2005 Medium gold color with a modest head and pretty fair lacing. Mild aroma, a little fruity and herbal. Light to medium bodied and well carbonated, slightly bready malt flavor with a good bitterness and dryish finish. If I hadn’t seen the bottle I sure wouldn’t guess it was a Mexican beer-not too shabby and worth a try. Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2005 Zis bier vas liken zum ov ze Cherman pils but lighter. Gut tasten it had mit noble hops unt malt but vas wary light in body. Zis be beink ein gut bier for to be pushink ze lawn mower. Earlier Rating: 2/18/2005 Total Score: 3 This was served with a lime at my favorite mexican restaurant but I saved the lime for the last taste. The looks were typical lager but the taste was a surprising mixture of malt and noble hops with an above average sweetness to the beer: probably to compensate for the limes. I tried the lime at the end of the beer but it definately made no improvement. Maybe in a hot place like Mexico lime has it’s place, but not in my opinion.
