Much better than most Pilsners from the Southwest/mexico. Has abit of a hop bite to it, drinkable, ok pils.

I mean, what do you expect? Plain, regular skunky mexican pilsner beer. Not impressive, but good with a mexican meal.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 pinkzambia (1155) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 24, 2006
Bottle:Clear light gold with no head. Smelly wheat and skunky aroma. Lots of carbonation in the beer and somewhat metallic in the aftertaste. Flavor is yeasts, sparkling water and other non-impressive items.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 uglyblond1 (177) - Nebraska, USA - JUN 21, 2006
A hearty pilsener, a pale golden color. The Aroma is light, but has sufficient hops. This is one of the better Mexican beers, fairly smooth but light dry malt flavor. Hops are there, but still not the top of hop flavors. Yeast still has the leather overtone common in Mexican beer Not bad with Mexican food if it is really cold.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 elektrogeist (158) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 20, 2006
12oz bottle: surpisingly good mexican beer, definitely matches the pilsner style.. in its own unique way. aroma of alcohol, malts, and a hint of hops. flavor is a bit light but well balanced between the malts and subtle hoppiness. nothing objectionable in the flavor or the aftertaste, but i have had better pilsners. good stuff, if its what’s available instead of dishwater corona.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Kingsley (26) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 13, 2006
The best widely available Mexican light lager, and maybe the best Mexican beer period. Good color and hop character, plus enough maltiness to make it a beer worth savoring.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 scanman (147) - Santa Cruz, California, USA - JUN 11, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2006 This is one of my favorite pilsener style beers. Great hoppiness, color, fizz and refreshing. I like the slight dryness. A true premium lager. More complex than Modela and other mexi-lagers. Sometimes hard to find, but worth looking for in mexican markets and good beverage stores. Great bottle design (sorry, I’m as sucker for a good hold!)
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 henry3r (586) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - JUN 9, 2006
The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear, golden yellow beverage with a small fizzy white head that did not last very long and left little or no lacing on the glass. The aroma was slightly dominated by a caramel maltiness but there were subtle notes of old harness leather and horse sweat. The body was light with lively carbonation and a watery texture. The finish was short and somewhat dry. The flavor started off a little on the bitter side and stayed consistent throughout.
