2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 alafito (334) - tijuana, MEXICO - MAY 20, 2006
One of the more hoppier beers in mexico although it is an artificial taste, no head, no body and a nothingness finish. If you had to choose between the tecates, sols, coronas and other macros id choose this one, as the lesser of the bads...

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - APR 30, 2006
Tasted 20/04/2006. 330ml bottle at Flying Burrito Bros, Wellington.
Bulk standard international lager. Pale-gold, fluffy white head; grass and corn syrup on the nose; a hint of caramelly malt, dry, carbonated, ever so slight grassy bitterness; watery. The barman pumped this up, with talk of "rich malt", but it’s just another simple "premium lager". I guess, in Mexico, you can be sure that it’s cleaner than the tap water.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Suttree (3766) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 29, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2006 Yellow, with a foamy white head that disappears quickly. Faint aroma of corn, pepper, and hops. Crisper palate than a typical Mexi-lager, with a cornish flavor up front and finishes with a slightly sourish, bitter finish. Some aftertaste, too.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 NoiZe (2325) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - APR 23, 2006
Light golden colour. Soft flavored, sweet in the end. It’s a decent pilsener.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 9, 2006
Bottle. Pale gold body with heavy carbonation and diminishing white frothy head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with some bready and herbal notes. Its one-dimension taste is dominated by a relatively sharp hoppiness. It leaves a short bitter finish. Surprisingly good for a Mexican beer.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 presario (3977) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - APR 4, 2006
I bought one bottle at the resort grocery store. Looks like Mexican beer. Smells like Mexican beer. Seemed to have a little more malt and an attempt at hops which made it more interesting than the usual Modelo cervesza.
