UPDATED: JUN 10, 2005 I don’t understand why this beer is categorized as a pilsener because it doesn’t resemble one in any respect whatsoever. However, it’s quite decent. Soft, rich, creamy flavour like many mexican beers. Has a little bite to it. In spite of its apperanace, tastes a lot like negra modelo, except with more hops. Of all the beers I’ve had with a slice of lime, this one I think goes best, and I would recommend it--it’s bitter enough that it is not overpowered by the lime, yet it’s weak enough that the lime greatly enhances the flavour.

I thouht it was a sight better than Corona. Pours a pale gold with a thick, white foamy head. Malty aroma, sweet malty taste ... a little touch of hoppiness on the back end. Drinkable, but not exceptional by any means.

barely there, very corona lite like with little to no flavor, bubbly clear wheat colored, closer to water than most beer.

Thick foamy head that doesnt hang around very long, some amount of lacing, surprising amount of aroma considering its pale color. Taste is fairly fruity, but not too much flavor. Definetly more complex than most Mexican beers I’ve had, but still fairly weak in the flavor department. Definetly seems like it would be a magnificent accompanyment to food, especially Mexican.

Good beer, for once. I actually like this stuff. Nice head, and hoppy flavor.

If they are out of Negra Modela, Bohemia is the next one on my list. This beer goes with every single thing on the menu at a Mexican food place. Good taste and just a better pick than Corona.

Thanks to the fact that this was a Mexican beer, I could get away with adding lime and makingit drinkable. Better than Corona and Pacifico. A little bit of a burnt taste and not such a metallic aftertaste.

From the bottle. Nice citrus aroma, mostly lime (no limes were served with it - this was just the beer). Medium bodied, reasonably crisp, nice lime-citrus hops flavor. Better than iI expected.
