wow, i can’t believe that i’m going to say this - ’this ain’t horrible’ (and you can quote me on that!). Things didn’t start off well - the pale gold color had me expecting something thin and krappy. the taste - light prickly with a nice medium malt, some middle of the tongue hops, finishes dry.

Golden coloured. Pretty nice maltiness, which is highly suruprising in a Mexican lager. Crisp with rather low bitterness.

Just like its written, A top-quality Mexican lager beer with full body and rich flavor. But nothing to write home about.

Good for a Mexican brew. Light and standard.

Pils, on the hoppier and tastier side of middle-of-the-road. Mexico was once ruled by a Hapsburg, and it shows in their solid Central European brewing.

This beer probably has more character than just about any other mainstream Mexican brew. A bit more upscale in appearance and flavor. Some notes of caramel malt and better than average hops character. Holds a steady head and flavor is balanced and pleasing. Not a bad beer at all but in a world of so many choices it could stand to be a bit more serious.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Overall a pretty good Mexican brew. Crisp golden color, nice white head (even some lace left in the glass), refreshing taste (even some mid-palate action), lip-smacking finish. I don’t usually go on about south of the border beer, but this is one of my favorites.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light, but pleasing.
Aroma is nothing special. Deep amber in color. Flavor has a bit of nuttiness, with a smooth, but not long-lasting finish. Better than most brews which originate from south of the border...and it makes a nice compliment to a plate full of tacos.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
One of my favorite Mexican brews. This is a medium-bodied lager with a dark yellow, almost honey color. This is a finely balanced beer. The beer has a light amount of carbonation and has a good head.

Skunky beer! very nasty, one of the few beers I never finished because of taste.
