Aroma slightly hoppy but clean...Appearance is standard gold with moderate white head...Flavor is better-rounded than many Mexican offerings--hops fairly crisp and a more substantial malt foundation than most...Medium-dry finish...Nothing remarkable here, mind you, but near the head of the pack of Mexican lager-pilseners on the mass market.

Like its sisters Corona and Sol. Very thin and watery with a slight taste of corn.

Re-Rate 10/01/02 Pours a clear gold, the head white, minimal, the lace is adequate. Nose is malt, clean and crisp. Front is malt, lightly sweet, top is light, the finish is quite acidic, dry, and nicely hopped. The second beer I had in Warez, Mexico, on my first weekend at my new posting to Fort Bliss. Ranks #937 on my current 1000 beer master list.

Nothing special, though the boring taste of nothing and an empty feeling afterwards. Very boring!

A spicey pilsener with too much water!

Lt gold color, medium head. Light taste, slightly hoppy. Crisp taste. Full and smooth. Mouthfeel. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Not too bad. Not too good either. Reminds me of Negra Modelo, only a step down...way down. It has a bad bitter aftertaste.

Very very light yellow. Not much taste in my opinion. I was kinda disappointed. Something about the name made me think it might be a more complex beer.

It’s not that bad. It tastes similar to the other Cuautemoc-Moctezuma product Tecate.
