Light is the thing here, which does make it a decent pair with Tex Mex, even adulterated with lime. Bonus points for no nasty off flavors....I’m looking at you Hatuey.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 delnoche (352) - GERMANY - OCT 10, 2010
12fl oz bottle poured into a pilsner. Sparkling gold with tiny dissipating white cap. Aroma is very slight citrus and hops. Flavor is citrus and light hop bitterness. Thin body, light carbonation. Short finish. Decent Mexican lager. Goes well with salsa.

Bottled, pasturised, 330ml from Beers of Europe, Norfolk. Pale yellow with white head. Corny, sweetish lager with a carbonated tinny flavour, sharp in the body, some cardboard. Not a beer to return to.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 rubbishystuff (1202) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 As of now this is my favorite pale Mexican lager. Cleaner flavor than the other offerings and better body. Serving: bottle
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 felsenpils (31) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 24, 2010
You know, I like it. O.K., so the body is a little thin and the foam retention is not so good. Nontheless, a pretty good lager with a decent hop aroma and flavor. Much better than mainstream North American lagers. I like the fact that the hop is present, but not overpowering as in so many microbrews.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 taphandle (991) - Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Light yellow - clear, head gone quickly. Aroma is "lagerlike". Taste is lagerlike with a touch of skunk and bitterness. Actually not too bad for a Mexican lager.
