Abbey Dubbel that tastes like a triple fermentated ’Fin du Monde’. Sweet and yeasty like its northern counterpart, but more ’bubblegummy’. Almost no aftertaste.

Cerveja levemente amarga, porém um pouco caústica no sabor, com um retrogosto não muito agradável.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2012 Amber colour with a small head that doesn’t last very long. Sweet floral aroma of citrus and caramel. Taste is malty and caramel. Feels beautiful and soft in the mouth. Also a slight sweet finish. Overall a decent beer and probably Brazil’s best beer from it’s major brewers.

For the eyes: orange colour (tea-like); clear body. For the nose: orange hops; notes of banana, pineapple and cinamon? There’s someting unpleasent here. For the mouth: very thin body. For me: label says ’inspired in the tradition of belgiun monks’ - just don’t let the monks hear that!

bought in a Rio walmart, about 3 hours before my flight home to doom .. . pretty sweet stuff.. . pours an amber with decent belgianesk foam .. . nice easy mouthfeel .. . clean, abv masked very well .. . a real surprise! has held up well and has that splash of quality to it.. .You’re oblivious to your effect on other guests.

My brother got this in Brazil for me. Nice treat from the bro. I wouldn’t have received this otherwise. Smells like a hefe/wit/wheat beer. Very citrusy, yeast aroma. Very nice aroma, just categorized incorrectly, if you ask me. Pungent aroma. Transparent orange/brownish in appearance. Nothing special about the appearance. Very thick yeast/citrus flavor. Nice tasting beer. Again, I am pretty sure that this is a hefe/wit or wheat ale. Has a nice and awesome yeast taste. This could be compared to Paulaner! Overall, nice beer. I really like the flavor. Can’t say that I have this opinion of Brazil beers on a regular basis. Oi, and cheers from Brazil.

Copper body, white opaque foam, medium lasting one. Fresh and clear tastes, citric notes of flavor, fresh fruits ones. Oat shows itself often, but not strongly. Little to none aftertaste. Not that bitter beer, very refreshing indeed, seems to go very well with everyday meal. Nice beer. Boa cerveja.
