Bottle - Pours a yellow color with a sizable white head. Aroma does not include hops. Flavor is not hoppy like it should be and too much other "stuff" (like corn) is used to make it. Like most other Caribbean beers, if drunk cold enough it is not half bad...

355ml can. Pours light gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is corn, lemon washing up liquid and a touch of apple. Taste is full of corn with a cardboard finish.

Bottle on the balcony of our hotel in Punta Cana while waiting out a rainstorm. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized head. Sweet nasty grain with a bit of corn behind it. Doesn’t smell as terrible as either of the Presidentes, but that’s not saying much. Medium bodied, sweet and with a touch of grain and corn. Grainy bitterness into the finish. Still tastes like cheap swill, but I guess it’s not as bad as the other two. Soft metallic note on the finish as well. Meh.

Clear golden, white head. Ok lager, that is not too watery, has no funny tastes and drinks well.

12-oz. long neck. Clear golden/straw color, small white head that does not stay. First sniff doesnt reveal adjucts that are well hidden behind a soft malty aroma. Flavor is very well balanced mixture of adjucts and malt and even the hops are there with very mild hints of fruits. Nicely carbonated and goes down smoothly. Quite drinkable. Probably the best adjuct/macro i’ve had.

Bottle on the beach in Cabarete. Body is nice and light and has good carbonation. Flavor is pretty clean and there is a nice little hops presence to balance things out. A little bit of almost pepper and a little skunky hops. This is a very nice beach pils.

Land #51 Sehr fruchtiger Geruch. Dezent fruchtiger Antrunk, feinherb, leicht säuerlich. Das Bier hat einen kurzen Nachgeschmack, wie für Biere aus der Gegend üblich. Höchstens als Sommererfrischung! Test vom 30.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,10,8,9,7 - 7,70

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is light malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Thanks a lot to Ken1 for bringing this back from the Dominican Republic. 170611
