1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
This one hurt less than el Presidente. I only had one bottle and definitely, it was the better of the two. A bit more malt on the tongue than EP, but once again, harsh and nothing to write home about. And when you choose this over water in a tropical environment, you spend a lot of time buzzed on cheap bad beer. (Bottle Pour - New Years 2006/2007)

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Small can. Clear golden body, small white head with ok retention for a lager. Aroma of grass, grains, corn, mineral water and light metallic notes. Taste is grainy, mineral, slightly herbal, watery. Ok for the style and location I guess, definitely exceeded my expectations.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bland and watery pale lager that certainly is not a Pilsner as is claimed on the bottle. Its best feature is it is watery and not very offensive.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This was just a plain basic lager. Not much crispness, an average body. A slight funk to it. Not very good.

355ml can. Pours light gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is corn, lemon washing up liquid and a touch of apple. Taste is full of corn with a cardboard finish.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle on the balcony of our hotel in Punta Cana while waiting out a rainstorm. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized head. Sweet nasty grain with a bit of corn behind it. Doesn’t smell as terrible as either of the Presidentes, but that’s not saying much. Medium bodied, sweet and with a touch of grain and corn. Grainy bitterness into the finish. Still tastes like cheap swill, but I guess it’s not as bad as the other two. Soft metallic note on the finish as well. Meh.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
12-oz. long neck.
Clear golden/straw color, small white head that does not stay.
First sniff doesnt reveal adjucts that are well hidden behind a soft malty aroma.
Flavor is very well balanced mixture of adjucts and malt and even the hops are there with very mild hints of fruits.
Nicely carbonated and goes down smoothly.
Quite drinkable. Probably the best adjuct/macro i’ve had.
