This was the in-room beer at the Dreams all inclusive resort in La Romana. Not a beer I would ever buy, but when you are drinking it on a beautiful evening, while chillaxing and overlooking palm trees and beautiful scenery, it grows on you.

Bottle on the beach in Cabarete. Body is nice and light and has good carbonation. Flavor is pretty clean and there is a nice little hops presence to balance things out. A little bit of almost pepper and a little skunky hops. This is a very nice beach pils.

Land #51 Sehr fruchtiger Geruch. Dezent fruchtiger Antrunk, feinherb, leicht säuerlich. Das Bier hat einen kurzen Nachgeschmack, wie für Biere aus der Gegend üblich. Höchstens als Sommererfrischung! Test vom 30.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,10,8,9,7 - 7,70

Pretty standard larger. Good taste compared to other Dominican beers I tried during my stay. Best served very cold on a hot day by the pool. good for quenching the thirst.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is light malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Thanks a lot to Ken1 for bringing this back from the Dominican Republic. 170611

This was one of 4 beers available in the dominican republic. I only drank it because I was tired of drinking sugary drinks. It was terrible.

A - light yellow with some little gold in it. Very clean. S - pretty much sweet and sugary, however not interesting at all. T - little malt with sweet flavor, but nothing much more. At least some bitterness at the end. M - very low body, not complex. Medium carbonation at the end but carbonates for a very short time. D - pretty easy to drink Overall it is not a good beer but if you’re in Dominican republic, you’ll probably have not much choices.

Bottle 355 ml from Supermarket Yaka-Awa in Neuchâtel (CH). Blond firing towards amber with short foam. Smell of grain, paper. The mouth is supple, cardboard taste, lack of freshness, flat and soft. Beer without relief and without final. To drink very cold on the beach, it certainly seem better on holidays.

Had a couple of these in Punta Cana. From what I saw, this beer was far less advertised and available than Presidente. This was ok, but kind of sharp tasting or less malty than the Presidente. Grassy and some hops, little malt. Pretty good served cold but I’d rate it a notch below Presidente. Pretty decent beach beer.
