Bottle, as Bohemian Lion. Gold with a fading white head. Aroma of grain, some spices, faint flowers. Rather watery. Sweet with corn and caramel. There’s some more interesting malt character lurking underneath, but it’s rather buried. Low bitterness.

More like an eastern european than a czech pils. Watery and bland with a lot of corn. Too sweet but ok if cold.

66cl bottle @ Supermarket, Italy: Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is malty - a lot of corn. Bitter & dry taste. Thin palate. Too much corn.

Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - SEP 1, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2007 Bottled 0,66L. Shining yellow color, light fizz. Voluminous head but short duration. Gaut scent with light notes of cereals and straw. Much traditional taste with bitterish and herbaceous notes; light dry malt rumor but indeed watery and deprives of characteristics.
