2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Head is initially small, mostly diminishing. Body is medium brown. Aroma is moderately malty (grain, husks, coffee grounds). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Disappointing...even though the Clasica is quite drinkable, neither the Obscura or Weizen are worth a crap.

Bohemia Clasica was one of my favorite Mexican beers and Obscura is better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light fruity notes, roasted, not bad. In mouth, a nice Bock like offering that goes well with Mexican food, roasted malt, decent.

Liked the light more which is rare. For me. But found this bland and as uninteresting as a corona.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Yeast, cane syrup, rice, caramel, grainy. Drinks very light bitter, characterless, some sweetness from cheap cereal. Medium carbonation. It’s very passable. (Bottle from small convenience store in Tulum)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bunch of numbers are on the bottle, but there are a few separate ones that read "11 2013", so I assume that means drink by November. Poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.
Appearance: A hazy brown with about a finger of a tan-ish head. The head doesn’t last long, and the beer only leaves a slight ring around the glass. Patchy lacing.
Smell: Sweet grains. Traces of some sort of dark fruit like plum or raisin. Doesn’t seem to be of the highest quality, but it doesn’t smell bad.
Taste: The dark fruit sort sweetness is on the front, and then the rest is some slightly roasted malt to take away from some of that sweetness. There’s no real bitterness in this beer, but that malt character does help to keep this from being cloying. On some sips I pick up a faint metallic note, but I’d rather have that over skunkiness any day, which this beer doesn’t have. The mouthfeel is pretty thin, with just a little bit of carbonation.
Overall, this beer is just alright. Highly forgettable. The thing that gets me about this beer is the pretentious bottle -- wrapped in foil as if this is a really rare treat. I’d not be opposed to having it again, but it’s just too "blah" for me to warrant ever buying it.

Sin aroma característico, consistencia débil. Espuma débil. Fácil de beber. Maltas y notas ahumadas. Chocolate en el retrogusto. Tal vez la cerveza mexicana comercial más compleja.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled at random Taqueria at calle Bolivar, Mexico City. Clear amber, creamy head. Caramelly nose. Light-medium bodied with some caramel and clean, rounded mouthfeel. No bitterness. Not really enjoyable, but I have had much worse industrial lagers than this.
