COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
No início a Bohemia seguia a receita tradicional alemã, com sabor amargo e forte. Hoje é composta de extrato primitivo comum, tem baixa fermentação, seu aroma e sabor são suaves e seu amargor é diferenciado.

Good commercial pilsen. A bitterness a little bit greater than the others most populars brazilian pilsen. A good choice to follow some pizza.

330ml bottle poured in Pilsen glass. A: Pours a very pale clear yellow color. Forms a big white bubbled white head when poured. Medium retention and not much lacings left S: Smells like a cheap beer. Actually, smells like a cheap adjunct lager. Caramel malts and corn. Killer T: Follows the nose, I mean, not much taste at all. Very watery. The mild taste is really bad. Corn, again. A bit of bad quality hops too M: Very light body with artificial high carbonation. Watery and not bittter enough to a called Pilsener beer O: Average bad quality Brazilian large scale producing beer. Once in Brazil, look for an Eisenbah, Baden Baden or something else from a smaller producer. About this one: JUST AVOID IT! [ BA Review @ 2/17/2012 ]

Percebi a poucos dias que não havia feito uma degustação desta cerveja, que tomo regularmente. Creme branco, bem formado, pouco denso. Pouca persistência. Liquido amarelo, acetinado, transparente. Aroma suave. Malte e herbáceo de lúpulo residual. Um pouco de palha molhada. Sabor amargo, floral. Diferente das cervejas mais comuns. Dentre elas, a minha preferida. Não chega a ser seca, mas também está longe de ser uma cerveja suave. É uma cerveja refrescante. Ao meu ver, tem um ótimo custo benefício.

Tasteless, dull. Not much to say. Bottle says it has corn in it, its part of the style and is the same as most other brazilian macro beers. However its clearly made with slightly better ingredients and certainly has a lower porportion of corn. On the other hand its still thoroughly unimpressive. It claims to be a pilsner but no evidence of that is found inside the bottle. Its an old beer founded by german immigrants who originally followed the reinheitsgebot but with time and the acquisition by a macro giant it was made progressively lighter and blander. Bottle @ Rio de janeiro.

Rated from notes taken on 13 Jul 2011, and 6 Aug 2014 -- Brought back from my father on one of his trips to Sao Paulo. Poured into a Pint glass, a brilliant clear yellow, with slight white head. A pretty nice pilsner. Note: the 2014 tasting was the brother beer from the 2011 tasting, it was delicious for a 3 year old pilsner stored in less than ideal conditions.

350 ml bottle in Belem. Weak head despite high amount of visible carbonation in the clear, light golden body. OK lacing. FEEL: Light lively body with crisp, medium-high carbonation. taste: typical light lager with hints of cereal as well and light malts and a touch of hops. Mild but lingering aftertaste more clearly reveals the hops. Smell: faint cereal and light malts with a touch of spicy hops. O: about average for this style in this area. Certainly not worth seeking out but passable.

A light blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, grainy crisp malt with light German hops, light corn, so-so. In mouth, a light crisp malt with faint hops, light corn notes, decent eurolager. 7.50R$ (3.25$)at Quality hotel in Brasilia.

Bottled 355ml. -Straight from the bottle on Copacabana. Sweetish malty, light hoppy and bready with moderate bitterness in the finish. Not bad.
