2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 gunnar (2638) - Sandnes, NORWAY - APR 7, 2011
Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear golden with a moderate sized creamy white head. Aroma of light grassy hops, bready malts. Taste is light bitter, with a good malty body underneath, but i sense something strange here, almost a soapy mouthfeel, which puts me off a bit.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sigmund (3710) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - FEB 25, 2011
500 ml bottle, as Bohemia Regent Super Výčepní Světlé Pivo 11. ABV is 4.6%. Will probably be made available in Norwegian grocery stores. Golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma has honeyish and floral notes of Saaz hops, also pilsener malts. The flavour has a fairly decent balance between the malts and hops, some sweetness but not too much, reasonably bitter finish. A decent pils, no more, no less.
