Crystal clear beer with a brief white head. A mild malty and buttery aroma. Watery body. Disappointing hops. Lacking bitterness. Mild bittery aroma. Not good.

Mörkare gyllene i färgen med vitt skum. Doftar söt malt gräs bröd aningen alkohol. Smakar söt malt, alkohol, bröd, gräs. Lite obalanserad i alkoholen.

Draught. Deeper golden colour with a creamy, white head. Sweet aroma with pale and caramel malts, grasses, bread, grains. A butter or honey-like note. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter - grassy and bread hops, a solid sweetness from the malts.. Not bitter enough for the style - but surprisingly "fat" for a 6 % abv.

Almost clear golden color, minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma of hayish maltiness with some herbal hoppiness around, also some metallic notes. Taste is light sweet, some maltiness and a touch of herbal, floral hoppiness; one would hope more hop presence from a Czech pilsener. Flavours of hay, bread, herbs, not really any alcohol thankfully. Palate is light, slick and drinkable. Not bad but easy to forget.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 23.06.2010
Aroma has butter, some grainy malts and hints of nettles. Flavour is somewhat heavy and rather strong on butter, grainy malt, grassy hops and hints of nettles. Your typical Czech pils.

Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium golden with a spotty dusting of white head. The aroma picked up honey and corn sugars with black peppery warmth.. smelled a bit malt likka-ey. The flavor found about the same stuff.. honey, corn, and grainy bread sugars at the core, with black pepper and grassy bitterness around.. a little malty sourness and heavy alcohol warmth (for 6%) on the finish. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. slick at times and grainy at others.. this just wasn’t very good.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear pale copper in color with small bubbly whitish head. Hopscotch, burnt brown sugar and grainy in aroma. Oily texture. Sweet, buttery in taste. A bit thin, otherwise quite tasty. Some light grassy tones as well in aftertaste.

Looks like pale lager, has a somewhat sterile metallic aroma, perhaps a little like cleaning fluid perfumed with candy. Taste? Wew, this has got to be more than the 6% listed here. Quite rude for a pilsner, I would say this is more like strong lager. Much like the malt liqours youd find around here. Yes, like a strong cheap macro ice beer with more alky. I’m guessing 8%+ on the impact of this stuff. Big strong rude nastiness, now I think I feel a burning sensation on the sides of my tongue. One thing about it tho, it doesn’t create a gag reflex, at least for now. There is this alky candy thing hanging around the back of my throat,, reminds me of some kinda whisky flavored candy I had as a kid, heheh. You know, every time i try to evaluate the carbonation of this, my mind is sidetracked by the volatile effect on the taste buds. Finish is stripping, mind stirring alky. Quite an impression. There you have it; but in conclusion I’ll add a 0.1 to my score for the dizzying effect I’m getting at the end of the session from this 17 oz bottle.

Bohémia Sörszalon, Budapest. Áttetsző sápadt arany szín, valamint gyorsan összeeső és nyomtalanul eltűnő laza fehér hab. Illata malátás-gabonás, szénás és élesztős. Íze meglehetősen malátásan édes, néhol kevés zöldséges komló is érződik. Viszonylag testes, ám jól iható, kellemesen szénsavas, édeskés Märzen söröket idéző ízvilággal rendelkező cseh világos. Tisztességes, de nem az én világom.
