Draft at Café Svejk. Golden colour with a fine white head. Pleasant maltiness and hints of fruit. I liked the fairly full mouthfeel too. Medium bitter finish. Very nice pilsener.

50cl bottle at Ristiisa Pubi, Tartu. Pours clear golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with grassy and somewhat herbal notes, hints of honey and fruits. Medium sweet with nice grassy notes and a certain bitterness, but the alcohol seems to shine through a little bit. Quite decent, but not exactly top notch.

50 cl bottle from Liviko Alcostore in Tallinn (€ 1.20). BB 09.08.2015. Golden amber colour, translucent, not clear, with a light beige head that’s nicely retaining and leaving some lace. Sweet fruity nose with caramel and honey, hay, some nice grassy hoppiness. Faint spiciness. Damn, the fruitiness reminds me of old school caramelly IPA-s. Tastes surprisingly sweet, kind of like old school classical lemonade (e.g. Buratino), but it’s also got a lot of nice grassy herbal hoppiness. The finish is full on hoppy and slightly dry. Nice full body and active carbonisation. I like it. Should look out for more Svetly Le˛aks.

Fat @ Café Svejk Kph. Gyllengul öl med lättare vitt skum. Doften är sött maltig, med lite hö och honung. I smaken tillkommer lätta toner av smörkola och en lite gräsig beska.

Bottle. Medium white head. Orange color of liquid. Hazy. Fruty caramel smell with some herbal notes. In flavor: bread, hay, peaches. Medium body. Malty. Overall: not bad. Maybe some classic czech hop character is missing, but anyway ok beer.

Pours copper with a quickly vanishing white head. Kind of sweet, covers some of the taste of the alcohol, but it still shines through than in most beers. Malts, bitterness, carbonation. Not bad, but wouldn’t go out of my way to drink this again.
