Pours a dark yellow with a very light head, not much carbonation seen. Aroma was malty. Taste is malty with mild hops, sweet taste. Very full. Nice aftertaste. Not a bad beer!

Bottle. Golden body, medium head. Strong Saaz aroma. Bittersweet taste of hops and rich malt. Rich hoppy finish. One of the hoppiest Czech Pilsners I remember having. Also with the strongest ABV. Nice example of a style that is very underrated in Ratebeer. Oh well, more left for me.

0,5L bottle. Pours clear golden with white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malt, grains, and bread. Flavor is similar to nose, but also with some bitterness. Finish is intense malty bitter with a touch of alcohol. Overall: ok pilsner.

Nice and with those hints of the Czech beers. Very enojyable and never tiring as it is usual in them.

Excelente cerveza, un amargor muy definido. Excelente sorpresa me he llevado con esta cerveza. Claramente Regent tiene mucha tradición.

Bottle from Alko, Kemi. Clear golden beer with a white head. Malty and buttery aroma has some diacetyl. Flavour is sweet, some bitterness in the end. A bit alcoholic as well. Soft, oily mouthfeel. Average Czech pils.

Dárek p?ímo z pivovarské prodejny. Moc jsem ne?ekal, ale je to p?íjemné p?ekvapení. Chu? vyvá?ená, sladová, men?í ho?kost. Aroma nic moc, jak to u pr?myslových piv bývá.

Clear orange beer with a white head leaving lacing. Again classic lager looks. Aroma has malts, grassy hops, buttery diacetyl and alcohol. Taste is mostly fusel alcohol with malts and a strange hint of apple. Finish is quite long with alcohol and bitterness. Quite full palate. Even being very cold, the alcohol came through very strongly. Not enjoyable.

(Based on notes from 02172014) 500 ml bottle. Medium to dark clear yellow colou, huge frothy mostly lasting white head, good lacing. Moderate to heavy malty aroma of grain and light bread with heavy grassy hops, a bit of butter and some alcohol. Taste is initially bittersweet and acidc with bitterness slightly dominating, turning into a long bitter finish with a moderately astringent and slightly alcoholic feel. Medium to full body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Not a bad Czech pils, a bit one-dimensional and boozy perhaps. But immensely enjoyable and slightly more aroma and taste than many of them, most likely due to higher original gravity.
