A premium beer with a nice hoppy taste and of medium bitterness that gives this beer good drinkability and makes it therefore very popular. A real lager which satisfies even the most demanding gourmets.

Bottle. I’m thirsty; this beer has every chance. Golden colour with a slim white head. Aroma is grassy, slightly malty, some stale yeast and slightly fruity. Taste is sweet and malty, some dry bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Average.

Theres a similar taste iv found with all czech lagers. Aroma is corn aghh corn but there is also hops to combat it which gives it points. Taste is far more hops though the corn still has a small say. I just dont like lagers or pilsners i suppose.

Bottle. Golden with no head. Aromas are sweet grain and some pear fruitiness, slightly grassy. Flavours are sweet and malty yet quite flat. A bit dull.

A random czech lager, smooth but lacks character. Some herbs and grass aromas that feels good but should be stronger. Quite soft carbonation with a small head. Great beer for thirst, drink it along a spicy meat balls for example.

On tap in Cesky Krumlov:

The Lure:
Mild dry hay and herbal hops. Weakening every time the nostrils approach.

The Festivities:
Feeble grassy, herbal hop flavor and bitterness fall into serious dryness. Gooseberries amongst the hay. An easy conversation can be had without any disruption from your sips.

Transcendence:
Fast food chains are a pain.

Bottled. Grassy, somewhat floral saaz aroma. Grassy, slightly fruity and hoppy taste. A little hint of malt and some sweetness. Mediumbodied. Finish is not that hop-bitter, but it leaves a quiet lasting hop-bitter aftertaste. A very decent middle class bohemian pilsner.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a decent head. Lots of quality aroma-hops in both nose and flavour, but not really any pronounced bitterness. Very fruity, full body.

Smells like the milky head it barely has. It has a funny fruity taste that I can’t place - worth trying, but not much else.

Creamy head , nice fresh looking pils . Rather on malty side lager or it looks so as hops are very gentle and subtle . Nicely prepared. Refreshing . Very drinkable. Pleasant aftertaste .More as a premium lager than Pils. Recommended .

Malty nose, golden, pouring a finger of white foam. Taste is malt with some hops following. Really well balanced. Terrific! Thanks NorthYorkSammy.
