Acceptable.

pityu (560) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 25, 2016
Bottle - Clear reddish brown colour, mid-sized creamy beige head, good retention. Fine roasted aromas with chocolate, cocoa powder, caramel, roasted nuts and some grassy hops. Sweet toffee taste with milk chocolate and nuts, some grassy and herbal hop bitterness, lightly fruity aftertaste. Light body, moderate carbonation, a bit watery texture. Well rounded, easy drinking dark lager, worth a try but nothing special.

Red clear red brown, short beige head. Sweet roast caramel and malts. Very light and watery, easy to drink. Roasty toasty and insipid a little bit.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Poured a cloudy dark brown colour with a small and short-lasting beige colour head. Aroma is of mild sweet malt with caramel notes. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, light sourness. Average carbonation. Rather watery texture.

Mar 15. A 0.5 l bottle from a local supermarket. It poured clear brown body with a small head. Sweet caramel and dog food malt aroma, almost flake. Quite sweet flavor, too. A bit harsher roasted malt contributes to the light bitterness. Medium bodied with shorter and lightly bitter burnt caramel finish, yet still sticky. Rather a boring dunkel actually.

Flaske. Farven er rubinrd med et beigefarvet fast skum. Aromaen er let ristet malt og karamel medens smagen er mrk malt og kaffe. Eftersmagen er bittersd.

What appeared to be great in aroma and appearance just fell down with the taste and palate. Kind of a very weak watery taste, not full bodied, with some strange bitter finish. Not impressed, as Ive had very high hopes for the Bohemia Regent brand (their President beer is in a totally another league for me, but on the good side). This could very well be my worst dark beer I have ever drinked. Definitely not worth to be called a premium beer I think.

50ml bottle from work. Dark brown/black, deep ruby colour. Quite sweet. Molasses, brown sugar, grass, raisins, granola, coffee, slightly roasty, but the lagering(?) makes it really moreish and surprisingly quenching. Something about the mouthfeel I really enjoy - thin, but creamy, with good carbonation. Definitely NOT a porter. If you drink one Schwarzbier in your life, make it this one.

Quite nice bit sharp roasted malts, light coffeeish, caramel bit grassy hops, moderate to light sweetness, moderate bitterness. Nice balance, decent, but nothing fancy
