2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle( from Bitter Virtue, BBE July 06). Fruity malts aromas and a hint of chocolate. Sweet caramelly body with a touch of pasteurised taste. Too much on the sweet malty side for my taste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, Pasteurised, 500ml from Alexander Wines, Coventry. Rich reddish brown beer with short lasting head. Smooth sweet beer, particularly malty but with a wet carpet like aroma. Watery, dark roasted malts and a fusty finish combined. Reasonable but not to my taste.

Bottle. Rich reddish brown beer with a light head. The aroma is roasted and chocolatey and the flavour is rich, roasted, chocolatey with a slightly dry and fizzy finish. Overall a very nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tawny brown with a thin white head, but it leaves a nice lace.Nose is malty/treacley..very nice! A smooth, soft malt dominated palate is followed by a full , long lasting finish. I wasn’t expecting much from this due to the price(Ł1.49 from Peckhams) but this is great stuff!! A repeat buy, provided they have the stock!

Chestnut with a small tan head, aroma is lovely and malty for only 4.4%. Taste is nice enough but the finish is a little watery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dunkels arent something we get alot of up here in scotland so its good to get some in. Aroma is dough with some wheat but totally dominated but malt. Taste is very similar with a good sweetness off the malt. A very easy drinkin beer, though maybe to much malt character.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught. - Light chestnut brown colour. Soft malty sweetness on the taste, with a slightly spicy hoppyness at the end, and a very light roasty aftertaste. Alright, but far from the best of its type...

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Chestnut brown with a small head. Aromas are sweet cocoa powder with some roast character. Flavours are chocolate and fruit, sweet and quite thin. Not as malty as I was expecting. A disappointment for me.
