COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After years traveling throughout Europe in search of the traditions that originated the first wheat beers in the Old World, the challenge was to captivate the demanding and fine taste of Brazilians. The result was a perfect recipe that is adequate to our climate and taste. After all this time, your Bohemia Weiss is back. This surely deserves a toast. Now you can appreciate this exclusive style whenever you wish. This beer is being produced in Brazil with the care and attention it deserves, and with all the ingredients that make it so special: the French wheat malt, hops and yeast from Germany. Bohemia Weiss is a wheat beer that presents a natural color, and refreshing aroma from fruit and spices.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2007 From Bottle in Rio de Janeiro. Pale cloudy yellow body with a fluffy and lasting white head. Bready and citric nose with yeast tones. Acid banana mouth, with a slight bitterness at the finish. Nice fizzyness makes it highly refreshing without overstepping on the taste. A nice Hefeweizen from Brazil, undistinguishable from the average german commercial one . One of the best beers widely available in Brazil.

Bottle: Golden colour with a cloudy, hazy body; head is medium. Aroma is sweet or fruits and spices. The taste is refreshing true to its style with a well-balanced wheat presence, traces of dough, banana and citrus. With your eyes closed you wouldn’t guess it’s from Brazil.

550ml bottle.
Rather hazy straw-colored yellow with long-lasting thin white head. Massive aroma of lemon citrus, musty yeast, banana, clove and bread. Flavor much the same though not as intense, dominated by citrus and clove with some musty yeast. Medium palate. A fine hefe from Brazil?? Believe it -- this stuff is better than some popular German versions.

Very good beer for me. I can’t really explain the taste, but it’s just like Paulaner, same taste, same good looking. Gladely, it’s not seasonal anymore !!!!!!!!

Brought this one back from Brazil to try, glad to see I’m the first! Pale, hazy yellow, decent head. Aroma of lemons, wheat, and faint clove spice. Lemon is predominant. Slightly thin mouthfeel, flavor matches the aroma. As it warms, the lemon notes fade into the background, replaced by an indisctinct clove spice. There is also the faint suggestion of adjuncts with the malt, which would explain the thin body. Overall though, this is a decent beer, particularly by Brazil standards.
