Looks great. Taste is very much like a great German weiss beer. Cloudy looks, great taste, very nice.

Brought this one back from Brazil to try, glad to see I’m the first! Pale, hazy yellow, decent head. Aroma of lemons, wheat, and faint clove spice. Lemon is predominant. Slightly thin mouthfeel, flavor matches the aroma. As it warms, the lemon notes fade into the background, replaced by an indisctinct clove spice. There is also the faint suggestion of adjuncts with the malt, which would explain the thin body. Overall though, this is a decent beer, particularly by Brazil standards.

Draught in Porto Alegre. Pours a pale yellow without tons of head, a typical "brazilian" hefe in that it’s lighter and more witte-like than hefe.

My brother picked this up for me in Brazil. YES! Transparent haze lemon yellow. Nice fluffy head. Seems to pour on the thin side, but oh well. Average looking hefe. The aroma isn’t extremely pungent, but pungent enough to catch a good whiff. Yeast, clove, and banana are all noticeable. A fairly nuanced beer. Um, the flavor is a bit interesting. A short lived yeast flavor. The banana and clove really don’t make the impression that I was hoping they would make. Flavor can almost make you think there are some sour parts to this, I just think this is due to the heavy yeast flavor. Slight banana flavor, but the yeast just dominates. A slight fruitiness, but overall, not an exceptional hefe, but I was happy to try. Not a creamy beer, but oh well.

Bottle: Golden colour with a cloudy, hazy body; head is medium. Aroma is sweet or fruits and spices. The taste is refreshing true to its style with a well-balanced wheat presence, traces of dough, banana and citrus. With your eyes closed you wouldn’t guess it’s from Brazil.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2007 Bottle 550ml. Very nice weiss beer made in Brazil, the aroma is good and fruity, like Erdinger, but the coloration is a liottle bit more clear, like between golden and yellow. The fruity flavor and a little bitterness at finish. Well, will be party of my refrigerator now, 1/3 of Erdinger price. :)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fukito (610) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 7, 2010
Bottle, January 2010. A slightly hazy yellow/golden color with a nice white bubbly head. Aroma is some cloves and bananas, quite balanced. Tastes decent, with a balanced mix of malt, spices and fruit. Light to medium mouthfeel, easy to drink, very nice for the hot weather since despite being refreshing keeps some flavor. While not outstanding, it´s nice to see a Weis beer mass produced in south america, would certainly enjoy this back home.
