Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Good Malty aroma with a slight hop. Amber in color with a deep rich lager flavor. Slight hops flavor was detected and this finished with a good crisp flavor and was a very good beer.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 Draft pint at MacCools Layton, UT. Clear and light amber color, nice spicy aroma. 1.5 finger head. Small body, slight clove-vanilla flavor with malt, and nice hop balance. Interesting beer, might seem low-bodied due to the low alcohol content.

For a Utah lager, this is actually quite tolerable. Reminds me of Samuel Smith’s London Ale a little.

GABF 2005:
Orange color with no head or lacing. It had a sweet aroma but, nothing special to pick out. Taste was no good.

Poured a golden amber color with a nice white head. The nose was sweet with caramel and banana. The flavor had a nice balance of sweet caramel malts and stong piney hops. The finish was slightly grassy and dry. Not a bad Viennese, the finish was a bit harsh though.

Amber with a light head and spotty lacing. Malt and hops in the nose, very lageresque. Roasted malts, mild hops and citrus flavors. Very mellow.
