COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our full bodied amber colored lager is a result of combining our fine Pils malt with more darkly roasted malt to brew what has become our most popular beer. Slightly more hoppy than our other beers with a very clean and crisp finish. This beer is hard to put down.

Served from a can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head and just a touch of lacing. The nose brings some bread and quite a bit of grain. Very grainy and tannic, and this component is even stronger as it goes into the flavor. None of the caramelized malt or light sweetness that I would expect. Light body with average carbonation. Overall, far too grainy. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 06-09-2011

Golden yellow pour with white head. Aroma of sour corn and sugar. Light maltiness, paper, with a decent floral bitter finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. This beer is not bad. The initial aroma kinda got me but on the third or fourth try not so bad.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Good Malty aroma with a slight hop. Amber in color with a deep rich lager flavor. Slight hops flavor was detected and this finished with a good crisp flavor and was a very good beer.

Smells and looks okay, a little pale maybe. The flavor is okay, just mostly a bit thinnish, especially in the finish and there isn’t any roastedness to the malt at all.

The aroma is dusty and slightly sour with grain and metallic hops. The appearance is hazy amber with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bread like quality that turns into an astringent lemony bitterness. The palate is thin. Overall this is not good.

12oz can in a glass. Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma of tin, pale malts and bread, plus weird hops and off-notes. Flavor not good. Average to light texture. Why is Utah so terrible?

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 Draft pint at MacCools Layton, UT. Clear and light amber color, nice spicy aroma. 1.5 finger head. Small body, slight clove-vanilla flavor with malt, and nice hop balance. Interesting beer, might seem low-bodied due to the low alcohol content.

Draft at brewery, late summer ’09: Nice copper hue. Toasty-bready malts were nice. Interesting aromas of flowers, herbs and some curious, clove-accented perfume. Fairly easy to drink and decent.

Hazy golden color with a short lived white head out of the can. Thin, winey nose. Lots of water, wet grains and some cardboard. The finish has a stale lemon citrus note. Really not very good.
