COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our full bodied amber colored lager is a result of combining our fine Pils malt with more darkly roasted malt to brew what has become our most popular beer. Slightly more hoppy than our other beers with a very clean and crisp finish. This beer is hard to put down.

On tap at The Bayou. Pours a dark amber with a decent white frothy head. The aroma is mostly weak malts and fruit. The taste is pretty light; some sweet malts and grains, some hops, and a bit of roasted and fruit flavors. OK.

On Tap – Good Malty aroma with a slight hop. Amber in color with a deep rich lager flavor. Slight hops flavor was detected and this finished with a good crisp flavor and was a very good beer.

Golden yellow pour with white head. Aroma of sour corn and sugar. Light maltiness, paper, with a decent floral bitter finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. This beer is not bad. The initial aroma kinda got me but on the third or fourth try not so bad.

The aroma is dusty and slightly sour with grain and metallic hops. The appearance is hazy amber with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bread like quality that turns into an astringent lemony bitterness. The palate is thin. Overall this is not good.

Smells and looks okay, a little pale maybe. The flavor is okay, just mostly a bit thinnish, especially in the finish and there isn’t any roastedness to the malt at all.

Draft at brewery, late summer ’09: Nice copper hue. Toasty-bready malts were nice. Interesting aromas of flowers, herbs and some curious, clove-accented perfume. Fairly easy to drink and decent.

On tap a few weeks back in SLC. (Bayou). Color was orangeish/amber. Aroma of pale malt with a bit of earthiness and sweetness. Flavor was bready with a nice peppery hop finish. Solid for the style.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 Draft pint at MacCools Layton, UT. Clear and light amber color, nice spicy aroma. 1.5 finger head. Small body, slight clove-vanilla flavor with malt, and nice hop balance. Interesting beer, might seem low-bodied due to the low alcohol content.
