COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our full bodied amber colored lager is a result of combining our fine Pils malt with more darkly roasted malt to brew what has become our most popular beer. Slightly more hoppy than our other beers with a very clean and crisp finish. This beer is hard to put down.

The aroma is dusty and slightly sour with grain and metallic hops. The appearance is hazy amber with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bread like quality that turns into an astringent lemony bitterness. The palate is thin. Overall this is not good.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 Draft pint at MacCools Layton, UT. Clear and light amber color, nice spicy aroma. 1.5 finger head. Small body, slight clove-vanilla flavor with malt, and nice hop balance. Interesting beer, might seem low-bodied due to the low alcohol content.

12 oz can. Amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, malt, light nuttiness, and bread. Taste is the same.

Obtained in a trade. This can foamed a lot on opening. Poured gold in color with a huge white head and little lacing .Nose of toast and some light hops. Light in body. Flavor is malty and there is some floral hops. Finish is light citrus and some bitterness, but basically fades away. Pretty average beer.

Hazy golden color with a short lived white head out of the can. Thin, winey nose. Lots of water, wet grains and some cardboard. The finish has a stale lemon citrus note. Really not very good.

Draft @ brewery. Light caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a large off-white head. Caramel malt and grassy hops flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation.

Draft at brewery, late summer ’09: Nice copper hue. Toasty-bready malts were nice. Interesting aromas of flowers, herbs and some curious, clove-accented perfume. Fairly easy to drink and decent.

Straight from the can in Salt Lake. That’s a strange tasting vienna. It really doesn’t have much of a malt or hop note but instead an almost tart flavor. Not offensive, just odd for the style. Refreshing.

On tap a few weeks back in SLC. (Bayou). Color was orangeish/amber. Aroma of pale malt with a bit of earthiness and sweetness. Flavor was bready with a nice peppery hop finish. Solid for the style.

Can pours a clear copper with a foamy white head. Scent is light malt. Taste is bready and lightly roasted. Crisp and clean.
