COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for Bohemian Brewery’s tenth anniversary. This beer pays homage to the traditional German Zoigl beers. Zoigl is unfiltered, brewed with highly kilned malt, which gives the beer a slightly darker, deep amber, color and malty taste. Zoigl is also brewed with noble hops from the Hallertau region of Bavaria.

lightly hazed dark brown.
caramel chew and damp and stale wheat bread nose.
firm texture but tastes of sourish dry cola.
caramel chew finish.
lagering is not evident.
there’s little that says Zoigl about this.
flavor / aroma are more like a generic brown ale.

Appearance: Hazy dark amber with a big foamy beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, earthy and caramel
Taste: Toasted malts, caramel, grainy and yeast
Nice and easy drinking

On draft at the brewery. Poured a cloudy amber with an off white head. The aroma is toasted malts, slight sulfur, and hints of caramely malts. The flavor leans more towards the toasted malts, some fruity notes, sulfur is kept to a minimum. Finishes dry and toasty. Nice and drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. A very cool brew. Pours a beautiful copper color with a large beige head. The aroma is light caramel and bready notes. The flavor is a smooth sweet beer with lots of biscuit and rye bread, a bit if yeasty fruit, light caramel. Very tasty and big.
