2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jonno (1454) - JAPAN - JUL 31, 2010
Poured with no Head.Lots of carbonation and lots of grass on the nose and in the mouth. If this a pale lager then it’s doing a great impression of a bohemian pilsner. Could do a lot worse for $2 a bottle.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 pivnizub (7228) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 26, 2009
Bottle (dziekuje, Sztepan!) Golden with a greenish sheen, small to mid-sized stable head with very shy lace; typical "Bohemian" nose: bread, sweet pale malt plus some aromatic hops backwards; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, malty base, but quite thin; mild sweet pale-malty and hoppy finish. O.K., typical Bohemian Pils, a bit thin.....
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 15, 2009
(bottle, 4.6% abv) Almost clear, golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet, slightly nutty and buttery malty aroma with notes of bread and herbal and woody hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light, almost watery texture with a creamy carbonation. Typical Czech malt-profile with a good dash of Saaz hops, especially towards the moderately finish. Not bad and quite refreshing; unfortunately a tad too slim (15.IV.09).
