Bright amber. Buttery, woody, lightly floral aroma. Rich, high cohumulone bitterness. Caramel - lots of it - but with a decent hop background.

Bottle... GSRARO Throwdown... Beautiful, clear copper ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Earthy, hoppy aroma with notations of corn; specifically CornNuts. Medium-bodied and mildly creamy with soft carbonation. The flavor is all about heavy Chinook hop bitterness propped up by a solid medium-roast malt backbone. Lengthy, bitter finish. Thank you, PhillyBeer2112!

On tap at Bold City. It poured deep copper with white head. The aroma is strangely Chinook like with spice, earthiness and some citrus. The taste is much the same with a mix of spice and earthy hops along with sweet malts and citrus. It has a pleasing thin layer of sweet malts creating some balance to the largely hoppy flavor.

Draught at brewery taproom. Bright copper, great color. Strong herbal character, Chinook-forward aroma with lots of sage, rosemary, and pine. Fun, quaffable mouthfeel. Grassy, interesting character lots of fun to glean the specific flavors from this hop.

Tap@ the brewery. Pours orange/golden, beige head. Aroma is fairly straight forward with unique hop aroma adding some pine, floral touch. The malty character seems to be subdued and I picked up more of the hop profile. Flavor was similar, some floral, pine notes with light malty characteristics. Hops add to the mouthfeel though not retaining too much bitterness and adding apricot like flavor.

On tap at the brewery. My favorite offering by far. Pours a clear dark amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of earthy, fresh hops, piney hops, molasses, caramel malt. Taste is fresh, piney and citrusy hops with a good caramel malt backbone. Creamy, buttery mouthfeel. Very good. Nothing beats fresh craft beer.

On-tap at Hunaphu. This was probably my least favorite beer of the day, shows how strong of a day it was... Pour a hazy amber with some copper. Off white head, ok retention and lacing... The aroma is a little blah, light orange peel on the front, then chemical pine. Hoping this improves... The taste is pretty dead on the front then dusky floral hops. Doesn’t taste bad, just boring... I wouldn’t have this again.

On tap @ Bold City. Clear, solid copper color. Aroma of fruity, floral hops. Light raspberry essence. Flavor is very light. Distant caramel malt, very nice hop flavors. Wish this one could be a bit bolder. Needs texture. 25 July 09

Growler, throwdown. Attractive rub copper with a big foamy head. Grapefruit and resiny with a cookieish malt background. Long hoppy bitter finish.
