Straw yellow with creamy white head and lace. Light malt and earthy hops. Dry malt, hay, and a light earthy hop bitter. Light/medium bodied with good carbonation. One of the better commercial cream ales I’ve had.

On tap at Bold City. It poured clear gold with white head and some sheet lacing. The aroma is full of grainy goodness, some light malts and a touch of floral hops. Wow, full on grainy flavors start this thing out followed by some sweet malts running around in the background. I also get a thin layer of floral hops hovering overhead sort of here and there, ...see. It ends dry. Nice stuff.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 juiceisloose (1048) - Windermere, Florida, USA - FEB 7, 2010
Draft. Pours a mostly clear, golden yellow color topped by a small white foamy head. The aroma shows notes of crisp grain, light bready malts, and some floral hops. The flavor follows with more crisp grains, citrus, some sweet bready malts, and a dose of bitterness from some floral hops on the back end. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Not a bad little cream ale as it is easy drinking and refreshing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EricE (1288) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2011

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hopscotch (7526) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Draft… Lightly hazy yellow ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head and excellent retention. The bouquet is mashy, bready and biscuity. Light to medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. Nicely balanced flavor. Excellent bitterness. Grainy. Crisp, grainy finish.

Pint on tap at the brewery taproom at the Saturday night Halloween Party 10/30/2010. Went in costume, had a great time, and Susan had a great deal on all the beers. I am also not a fan of the Killer Whale Cream Ale, but the dry hopping does improve it. Not bad. Earlier Rating: 7/19/2009 Total Score: 3 Pint on tap at the brewery tap room. Pours clear yellow with a medium white head. Fresh aroma of pale malts, cereal, bread, lemon. Flavor is a bit raw with cereal grain at the first sip but quickly smoothes out to an enjoyable and refreshing session brew. Light to medium body does not feel watery. An easy drinking cream ale for quaffing. Not great but does OK for what it is.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 nick76 (3583) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2011
The aroma doesn’t have much it does have a bit of adjunct type malt and grass. The appearance is pale gold with a large head and a slight haze. The taste better than the aroma with a citrus element to go along with ample malt. The palate is thin. Overall another good offering from Bold City.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 aracauna (2691) - Georgia, USA - MAY 26, 2012
The malt is a little husky, but this comes off pretty crisp. Considering it’s 95 today and humid not a bad choice.

Lightly phenolic and a bit wheaty almost in the nose. Very bready flavors through the middle leading to an empty finish. Golden color.
